Dr. Ronald Roberts provides comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults, as part of the Family & Community Medicine team at UK HealthCare-Georgetown. He is a board-certified physician who has more than 20 years of experience providing care to Kentuckians across the lifespan.
Roberts earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at UK. He is trained in both adult primary care and pediatrics and has worked in both primary care and veterans’ hospital settings. Roberts provides comprehensive primary care to his patients at UK HealthCare-Georgetown, including handling routine care, managing complex health issues and treating acute illnesses.
Getting to know families through his practice is something Roberts truly enjoys, and he likes having the opportunity to treat everyone from the youngest to the oldest, including extended family. “You’re getting to know the entire family, and you’re actually taking care of the whole family,” he says. “You know them and have a relationship with them that is deeper than the numbers and the medicines.”
