Krishna K. Pancham obtained his medical degree from the Nilratan Sircar Medical College in Calcutta, India before fulfilling his Pediatric Residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center, affiliated to Temple University, Pa. He completed my fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Children’s National Medical Center, George Wasington University in 2015.
Dr. Pancham's clinical interests include chronic lung disease of prematurity, pediatric neuromuscular disorder, cystic fibrosis and severe asthma. His research experience focuses on the airway response to viral infections and the role of viruses in the development of atopic diseases such as asthma. He has published research in peer reviewed journals and was recently awarded the Henry Christian Award at the American Federation for Medical Research (AFMR) for outstanding young investigator. He is very keen in resident/medical student education and has received awards in teaching. He will be joining the Pediatric Pulmonology Division to treat children and adolescents facing a range of lung and respiratory disorders.
