Personal Statement

I am a neuromuscular neurologist. I received my medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor. I am board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Medicine. I spend a lot of my time teaching residents how to perform and interpret nerve conduction studies and EMG. I am a noted expert on therapeutic botulinum toxin injection. I am also very active in hospital administration. Currently my research is centered on the expressions of REM consciousness.
