Dr. Kelly Dingrando was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She spent the first 10 years of her career in public health at the University of Kentucky.
Her duties included treating children on a dental mobile unit at various elementary schools in Lexington and providing outreach opportunities for dental students in rural Kentucky. Dr. Dingrando decided to further her education in 2017 by attending at Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Kentucky.
Children are very honest and I appreciate their openness to share with me whatever is on their mind. Each child teaches me something new, whether it is about dentistry, a new outlook on life, or more about myself and I am grateful for the moments I have with every one of them. My number one goal with patient care, and life in general, is to insure each person knows there is someone out there that truly cares for them as a person. Once a person believes they are important and special, they are able to take on just about anything-- including dental appointments.
My outside interest include running, and parenting 2 fun loving, active sons. Whenever I do have some downtime, I enjoy being outdoors, playing piano, quilting, and sports. The most interesting thing people are shocked to find out about me is I test introvert on the Meyers-Briggs personality test. Even though I am very outgoing and personable, I do have moments of shyness.
