Jeremy S. Dority is division chief of neuroanesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology of the University of Kentucky. In addition to working in the operating rooms as a neuroanesthesiologist, he also spends a portion of his time as an attending intensivist on the Neurocritical Care Service and serves the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates as an attending anesthesia intensivist. As the associate program director, Dr. Dority is active in curriculum development and the education of resident physicians in the Department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Dority received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison. He then completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Kentucky. He joined the faculty of the UL Department of Anesthesiology following completion of a fellowship in neuroanesthesia at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, N.C.
