Dr. George Fuchs is nationally recognized as a leader in gastroenterology. He was selected by U.S. News & World Report to develop recommendations for refinements of the 2018-19 Best Children’s Hospital rankings and was recently appointed to the AAP Committee of Nutrition. Since joining UK Pediatrics, Dr. Fuchs has been instrumental in expanding the Gastroenterology & Nutrition Program, in part by creating efficiencies in the outpatient clinic. Fuchs has also served as a leader in the collaboration efforts between Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the UK Gastroenterology Program. He is a physician leader in the ImproveCareNow Network, which is a national quality initiative focused on improving care for children with inflammatory bowel disease. As the vice chair of clinical affairs, Dr. Fuchs will represent the department in leading quality and organizational objectives to meet the growing clinical demands across UK HealthCare.
