Dr. Dan Han is the Chief of Neuropsychology Service’s Clinical Section at UK HealthCare, and Associate Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Han received his doctoral training in clinical psychology and neuropsychology at the Adler School, University of Chicago, Rush University, Rudolf T. Dreikurs Center, followed by a 2-year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Charles Matthews Laboratory, University of Wisconsin – Madison. He received his Certificate in Executive Leadership & Management from the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business & Economics.
Dr. Han is a Fellow of the American Neurological Association, past president of the International Society of Neurogastronomy (ISN), past president of the Lexington Board of Brain Injury Alliance, and the current Chair of the Medical & Scientific Advisory Board of the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) – McMillan Chapter. He is a Blavatnik Nominee in Life Sciences by The New York Academy of Sciences, recipient of the Honor the Fallen Soldier Patriot Coin Medallion by AUSA – McMillan Chapter, Abraham Flexner Excellence in Medical Education Awards in two categories by The Academy of Medical Educators, Jack Runyon Service Award and the 2019 Psychologist of the Year Award by the Kentucky Psychological Association, and the Founder’s Award by ISN. Dr. Han is a funding recipient of federal and state mechanisms, foundation grants and clinical trials, involving studies of brain-behavior relationships, curriculum development, and program development.
