Second chances start here.

For more than 50 years, the UK Transplant Center has provided second chances for our lung patients and their families. We have completed more than 400 lung transplants since 1964, and according to survival data, we have one of the best lung transplant programs in the nation.

We offer lung transplant procedures for adults and children with a variety of life-limiting lung diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension and sarcoidosis. We also offer combined heart and lung transplants.
