Surgery coordinator values teamwork in providing outstanding care

Margaret Plymale

Margaret Plymale, DNP, RN-BC, realized in middle school that she wanted to become a nurse after she saw how much of an impact nurses made in the life of her close friend who was diagnosed with cancer. Now, Plymale is the coordinator of minimally invasive surgery in the UK General Surgery Clinic. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is collaborating with her fellow nurses to give each and every patient great care.
