Beth Coy graduated from the University of Kentucky, College of Nursing in 2004 with her master's of science in nursing. She joined the UK Neurology Department in March 2006 and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a registered nurse for 26 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. She has practiced at Kentucky Neuroscience Institute (KNI) and Sanders-Brown Center on Aging since 2012.
I provide compassionate care, looking at the whole person, not just their neurological problem. I try to actively listen to my patients before making careful clinical decisions. I try to work within the patients limitations whether they are financial, educational, physical or emotional; and I give patients extra time if they need it.
