About
Elizabeth Campbell’s duties include evaluating and treating patients with voice, swallowing and upper airway disorders, including those related to head and neck cancer. She serves adult and pediatric patients through UK Otolaryngology and the UK Markey Cancer Center multidisciplinary clinic. She is trained in laryngeal videostroboscopy, fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), videofluoroscopic swallowing evaluation, alaryngeal voice rehabilitation/TEP evaluation, acoustic and aerodynamic measures of voice production, and therapeutic interventions for voice, swallowing and upper airway disorders. Additionally, she is a certified provider of Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) for treatment of voice changes associated with Parkinson’s Disease and related disorders. Campbell serves patients who are professional voice users, as she is a classically trained vocalist and still performs in the community. Campbell supervises graduate students who are completing rotations with the UK Voice & Swallow Clinic. She presents case studies to graduate students and gives lectures to the UK Otolaryngology medical residents on a variety of topics related to voice and swallowing rehabilitation. She is also particularly passionate about working with the head and neck cancer population, especially with TEP speakers.
