    The Division of Infectious Diseases specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of acute and chronic infections and immunodeficiency disorders. Our physicians have special expertise in the treatment of immunocompromised patients, including HIV/AIDS and transplant patients, as well as in emerging infectious disease problems, including antibiotic resistance, fungal and viral infections, and tuberculosis.

    The Bluegrass Care Clinic specializes in the treatment of adults with HIV/AIDS. The clinic offers many services free or at reduced costs to adults living with HIV/AIDS in Central and Eastern Kentucky thanks to subsidized funding provided under the Ryan White CARE Act. In addition, the clinic manages the care of patients with osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, endocarditis and other related conditions.
