    Adolescence is challenging and we can help. At Kentucky Children’s Hospital, we have a clinic that specializes in adolescent medicine, treating young people ages 10 - 21. Our team of physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and psychologists provides comprehensive care for eating disorders, behavioral issues, obesity, substance abuse-related problems, sexual abuse/rape evaluation and treatment, ADHD, and more. This is a Primary Care Practice, and we provide routine and sports physicals, general and acute medical care as well.

  • Young Parents Program

    The Young Parents Program was created to provide comprehensive care focusing on the special needs of young parents and their children. We know that young parents face special challenges, so we have created this clinic to care for both the young parent and their children at the same appointment, saving time and money.

    At Young Parents we provide:

    • Child-rearing guidance
    • Counseling services to help young parents with the stresses of caring for a child
    • Gynecologic care
    • Weight management

  • Gynecologic Care

    Our gynecologic care also counsels and encourages teens to maintain a healthy lifestyle, avoiding risky behaviors and postponing sexual activity. Some of the services we provide include:
    • Colposcopy
    • Pap smears
    • Pregnancy tests
    • Reproductive care
    • Routine health care
    • Sick visits during clinic hours
    • Well-baby checks
