Donita D. Lightner, MD


My name is Donita Lightner; I specialize in pediatric neuro-oncology. I received my medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed my residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville. Additionally, I completed a pediatric neurology residency and fellowship at the University of Kentucky and a pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

I specialize in pediatric brain tumors and will join Dr. Thomas Pittman in the management of children with brain tumors.
