Nursing Educational Awards Introduction Letter
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in the Nursing Educational Award Program offered by UK HealthCare. We are pleased to offer this program to support the undergraduate education of those working to become registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
To apply for this program, a completed application packet must be submitted to the Nurse Recruitment office no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 1 for consideration for the fall semester and Nov. 6 for consideration for the spring semester. Award recipients must renew each semester by providing an official transcript to the Nursing Educational Award coordinator.
The completed application packet must include:
- Resume
- Consent form
- Nurse educational award questionnaire
- Official transcript
- Faculty adviser form
- Two reference forms from an immediate supervisor and/or faculty member
Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
Because of the high demand for this program, it is imperative that your application packet be entirely complete and received in the Nurse Recruitment office by the deadline.
If your application is accepted, you will be contacted by phone or email with the date and time of your scheduled interview.
