Continuing Medical Education
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

NEW course from UK's CECentral: Managing Nicotine Withdrawal. The course is designed to educate, train and mentor healthcare providers currently treating or interested in enhancing their learning on managing nicotine withdrawal and tobacco dependence in their specific patient population. The modules focus on the following practice specialties: Cardiovascular, General Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, and Trauma/Orthopedics. Learn more at the CECentral site.  

Clinical Communication Collaborative

The Clinical Communication Collaborative (CCC) is dedicated to the advancement of palliative care by fostering clinical communication practices for healthcare professionals. The CCC provides free teaching materials for teaching nurses, physicians, and others to engage in patient-centered communication. Learn more about CCC and communication training resources. Dr. Elaine Wittenberg-Lyles (Markey Cancer Center and UK Department of Communication) is a collaborator on the CCC initiative.
