• Aneurysms and arteriovenous disease

    The Kentucky Neuroscience Institute neurosurgeons work with a team of neurological specialists to provide state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), and other vascular malformations of the brain and spine. Utilizing open microsurgery, interventional neuroradiology, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery, KNI provides comprehensive care for patients with cerebrovascular disease, regardless of complexity.

    The specialists at UK will discuss your diagnosis with you, explain the natural history of the disease, and answer your questions about what it means to have an aneurysm or AVM. They will provide options for treatment, discussing the risks and benefits of each treatment, and help  guide you through the process.
