UK orthopaedic surgeons who are fellowship trained in pediatric orthopaedics provide the specialty care at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center on the UK campus in Lexington.
Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center ‒ Lexington is a pediatric outpatient surgical rehabilitation center located just across the pedestrian walkway from UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital and Kentucky Children’s Hospital. The close proximity of Shriners to Kentucky Children’s Hospital (KCH) brings together Shriners’ pediatric orthopaedic expertise and KCH’s inpatient facilities and specialty/subspecialty care for children with complex conditions.
Patients and families visiting the Shriners facility can use a ground-level drop-off area at the Shriners building. They also have access to the adjacent parking garage located on Transcript Avenue with access to the Shriners building from the pedestrian walkway located on the third floor of the garage.
UK pediatric orthopaedic services are also offered at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
