Pediatric Gastroenterology and NutritionIf your child has a nutritional, gastro-intestinal or liver problem, we'll put a multidisciplinary team from Kentucky Children's Hospital's Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition to work diagnosing and treating the disease. Led by a doctor specializing in gastroenterology, your team of nurses, nutritionists and counselors will use state-of-the-art technology and therapies to diagnose and treat your child. The most valuable members of our team are parents, and we make sure to include the child's family in every step of the process.
Specialties: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract in children and adolescents including constipation and functional gastrointestinal disease, diseases of the liver including newborn liver disease, acute and chronic hepatitis, emergency services and evaluation for gastrointestinal bleeding and foreign body ingestion, gastroesophageal reflux, inflammatory bowel disease |
