Happy Halloween!
It's that time of the year again to pull out the wigs (no comments from my friends), witches hats, face paint and whatever else you can find for a Halloween costume. Halloween has always been one of my favorite times. As a child, I remember making the rounds to all of my family and friends to collect those wonderful treats. I was fortunate to be able to relive the fun when our children were small. They would plan for weeks ahead of time about their very special Halloween outfit. Even though I enjoy the creativity of these costumes, I have to admit, I am so glad I don't have to dress up, especially at work!
It is also time for pumpkin carving and decorating. After walking through the 2nd and 4th floors of the University Health Services building, I realized just how talented some of our employees are with their pumpkin decorating skills. I found out that the staff of the University Health Services group had a pumpkin decorating contest. I was grateful that I wasn't the judge. As you can see from the pictures below these are serious competitors!
Everyone have a safe and enjoyable Halloween and UK Homecoming weekend.
