UK Medical Center Libraries

The UK Medical Center Library has over 192,000 volumes, subscribes to almost 1,500 journals, and is complemented by an Audio-Visual Library in the Health Science Learning Center.

Extensive computer literature searches can be performed by the reference staff for a modest fee; more limited computer searches can be performed by library users at no charge or by residents using a computer in the pediatric housestaff lounge or computers in the patient care areas of the Kentucky Children's Hospital. The American Academy of Pediatrics continuing medical education course (PREP) is also available to housestaff each year.
