What do patient reps do?
Patient representatives help patients and families resolve their concerns with service quality. For concerns outside their area of responsibility, patient reps will refer concerns to the appropriate person. We also have patient reps in the emergency department to assist patients.
How do customers report a concern?

Completing a patient satisfaction survey
Patients receive a satisfaction survey in the mail. Patients or their designees are encouraged to complete the survey and return it in the pre-paid envelope. The surveys are used to identify unmet patient needs, improve care and recognize team members who have provided outstanding service.

UK HealthCare Customer Service staff works with patients and families to help with communication, answer questions or resolve patient care concerns that may arise during a health care visit. We also pass on compliments to the appropriate areas whenever we receive them. For assistance in resolving issues, contact our office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requests left on our voice mail or sent to us via e-mail will be responded to within two business days.
Do you have a question about your bill?
Questions about your hospital or physician (KMSF) bill should be directed to Patient Billing between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
