This ARPN-CST was so inconsiderate of my thoughts and feelings. She was so invalidating and did not show any concern or tried to provided rapport/comfort. She made me feel uncomfortable, unsupported, stupid, and hopeless. After I expressed I have had it rough in regards dealing with this situation, she noted, I don't care if you have Hashis which that's fine but I do it's my health! She also overspoke and told me I have fatty liver, my blood pressure was high for the first time, I told her I never had any problems with that and proceeded to tell me I had hypertension. I did not feel listened. I left crying and hopeless, she was a detriment to my mental health I had risk her I had anxiety especially with medical stuff and she was so inconsiderate, I told her about all the changes I had been making, and my stress around reading a lot of different looking about my condition and she noted I don't care about all that nutrition stuff, I don't support it. I will not be returning to her.

  Provider gave excellent explanations for treatment decisions, followed up with me about lab results within 24 hours, and outlined treatment plan and expectations for switching to a new medication. Very thorough but also compassionate to patient experiences. I wish there had been additional time to discuss in more detail potential risks and benefits of the new medication, but provider spent ample time with me during the appointment, did not rush any part of the appointment and answered any questions I had.

  Dr. Marcinek seems like a pretty good doctor, but she did bring up a couple of things from our last visit (which was my first visit to her) which I explained that I did not ever do. In that first visit, she did not seem to believe me when I denied doing these things and I felt very judged by someone who does not know me. I felt that again when she brought it up at this 2nd visit, but I did not comment on it this time as I don't think it would do any good.

  Regina was awesome! She took her time and explained everything to me thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. It did not feel like a rushed appointment. There was a hiccup with the office not having or receiving all my lab work from my pcp. But we were able to get through that.

  The provider was more concerned with telling me I was overweight and listed all the things that would happen to me because I'm overweight (told me I probably had sleep apnea and my brain cells were dying). I need someone who will be concerned with WHY I'm overweight and help me figure out what is going on in my body to cause the weight gain and pain. This is my second visit and she has criticized my weight both visits. I did not have this weight problem a couple years ago, but she didn't listen to me when I try to say I don't know what caused my weight gain. She just suggested lowering my dose of thyroid meds, but isn't concerned with my numbers going up from the past two months because I'm still in the normal range. If in six months from now my numbers are high and above normal I'm going to have a problem to address with the care I've received for the past three months from this provider.

  Dr Marcinek is actually the best do tor I have ever had. She asks questions. I ask questions and she explains everything n detail. She Is so n tune with my problems. Gets answers where no one else ever has. My thyroid has been out of wack ever since 1968. Finally It Is under control! She Is an amazing doctor and I am so thankful that she Is my doctor!

  Had an exceptionally well visit with the provider. She took time to explain what was going on with my previous labs and the reasoning for future labs prior to my follow up appointment in August. She not only explained the answers to my concerns verbally but also pulled my lab results so I could have a visual explanation of them as well.

  Care provider showed excellent knowledge of condition and proposed plan, however did not show much concern or care and was a little harsh in talking about possible future outcomes. She was beyond frank and direct in projecting other illnesses and conditions that I have not been diagnoses for and am not clinically at risk for simply to give examples of hypothetical situations. I did not mind it, but a more sensitive patient would have been very hurt and confused. My experience matches a review about the provider that I read online. She is however knowledgeable about the thyroid condition that I had. I am glad she knows her field and statistics, but I wish she showed more of a human touch/concern, as I believe it would make her an excellent provider.
