Audrey K. Darville is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner. She is also a certified tobacco treatment specialist. Darville's current work focuses on providing intensive individual and group tobacco dependence treatment for inpatients, outpatients and employees. Her research interests include persistent tobacco use in persons with medical illness. She is a member of the board of the Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence (ATTUD) and was honored as the Kentucky Nurse Practitioner of the Year in 2014.

 

Personal Statement

Tobacco addiction can be challenging to overcome and quitting tobacco is the single best thing a person can do for their health in their lifetime. I can help by providing evidence-based treatment that works.
