Blue Distinction is an innovative quality designation that helps consumers find medical facilities that have demonstrated expertise in select procedures. Blue Distinction recognizes facilities that meet objective, evidence-based thresholds for clinical quality, developed in collaboration with expert physicians and medical organizations. Tissue Donation Performance Award
UK HealthCare's Good Samaritan Hospital is the recipient of the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliate's 2007 Tissue Donation Performance Award. The award recognizes doctors, nurses, chaplains and other health care team members who are committed to saving and enhancing lives through tissue donation.
