As we aspire to be a Top 20 academic medical center, this facility must support patient-centered care around which our academic and research program can flourish.

Integration of clinical services

This building will support multidisciplinary care, integrating both its inpatient and outpatient services with adjacent facilities providing a seamless care environment for our patients.

Efficiency

To provide the highest quality of care to our patients this building must be operationally efficient, reducing unnecessary duplication and housing only functions most important to enhancing the care process.

Flexibility

The structure of this new facility will afford the opportunity to adapt spaces and technology easily in response to advances in medical treatment and growth of our services.
