Our laboratory is fully accredited by the Laboratory Accreditation Program (LAP) of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the highest attainable accreditation for a Clinical Laboratory. A Pathologist-Medical Director, board certified by the American Board of Pathology, directs laboratory activities, providing consulta-tion in both the medical and technical areas on a full-time basis. The technical staff is made up of certified personnel based on the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment 1988-CLIAA 1998. Our laboratory participates in extensive proficiency-testing by the College of American Pathologists. Our score was an outstanding 99.8%.
