Erin Maynard is a multi-organ abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon in University of Kentucky transplant program. Erin grew up in Ohio where she did her undergraduate and medical school education. She did her General Surgery residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME and then returned to the Midwest for fellowship. She did a combined abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. She moved to Kentucky when the opportunity became available to engage in the Transplant division as well as have to opportunity to be close to family.

In addition to her interest in liver, pancreas, and kidney transplant, she specializes in hepatobiliary surgery including primary and metastatic malignancies to the liver, as well as, pancreatic cancer, and both benign and malignant bile duct disease.
