Jeremiah Martin, an assistant professor of surgery at the
UK College of Medicine, specializes in thoracic surgery and
oncology, minimally invasive surgery utilizing the da Vinci®
Surgical System, and foregut surgery.
Martin received his medical degree from the Royal College of
Surgeons in Ireland. He completed a general surgery residency at the
Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Conn., and a cardiothoracic
surgery fellowship at UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital. He also
completed a lung transplant/minimally invasive thoracic surgery
fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.

other thoracic malignancies, although he also assesses and
