Duncan C. MacIvor received his medical degree from The Ohio State University, College of Medicine, Columbus. Initially trained and practicing in OB-GYN, he later completed a residency in clinical pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University and a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, The Institute for Transfusion Medicine. He currently practices clinical pathology and transfusion medicine at the UK Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, and teaches medical students as well as residents and fellows in several specialties.
MacIvor is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
