My name is Duncan C. MacIvor; I received my medical degree from The Ohio State University, College of Medicine, Columbus. Initially trained and practicing in OB-GYN, I later completed a residency in clinical pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University and a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, The Institute for Transfusion Medicine. I currently practice clinical pathology and transfusion medicine at the UK Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, and teach medical students as well as residents and fellows in several specialties.
I am board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
