Zartash Gul, MD, received her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She then completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Wayne State University’s Karmanos Cancer Center, a premier institution with NCI designation.

Gul’s clinical interests are leukemia, myelodysplasia and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Gul has been trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center to perform cord blood transplants and has a strong interest in doing alternative donor transplants for patients without a fully matched adult donor. She also has strong research interests in improving immune suppression to better combat graft-versus-host and improving patient outcomes with allogeneic transplant.

Gul is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in hematology.
