My name is John Draus; I am a native of Kentucky, and completed medical school, general surgery residency and a research fellowship at the University of Louisville. I went on to complete a pediatric surgery fellowship at Riley Children’s Hospital at the University of Indiana, Indianapolis.

I am a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Pediatric Surgical Association and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. I have co-authored a book chapter and several journal articles on pediatric surgery and trauma.
