Jonathan M. Feddock, MD

Biography

Big Blue Family: Brothers Give Back as UK HealthCare Physicians

My name is Jonathan M. Feddock; I received my medical degree from the UK College of Medicine in Lexington. My clinical interests include breast cancer, gynecologic cancer, pediatric oncology and radiation oncology.

I am an acting member of the Radiation Oncology committee for the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) and NRG Oncology. I also serve as chair of the Markey Cancer Center Research Audit Committee and am a member of the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee. I enroll participants and serve as a site primary investigator for cooperative group trials, and I am the principal investigator for a Phase I trial for recurrent breast cancer.

My research interests include developing novel treatments for breast and gynecologic cancers, the development and education of Cesium-131 interstitial implants, narcotic/opiate abuse and dependency among cancer patients, and minimizing long-term toxicity from therapy in pediatric patients. I am actively involved with the Markey Cancer Foundation in fundraising. I also created and manage the Ironcology campaign, a unique fundraiser geared at combining my talents for racing Ironman-distance triathlons with cancer care.

I am certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.
