Head and Neck Cancer Team

The Markey Cancer Center has a dedicated Head and Neck Cancer Team that includes physicians, nurses and researchers from multiple specialties. Patients with benign or malignant tumors of the lips, tongue, mouth, pharynx (between the esophagus and larynx), larynx (voice box), thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal gland are seen in a comfortable, supportive environment. Treatment options include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, microvascular reconstruction, cutaneous malignancy and laser surgery.
