Pediatric Cardiology

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Jacqueline A. Noonan, a pediatric cardiologist at Kentucky Children's Hospital, at the third annual Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. National Physician of the Year Awards in March 2008.

Specialties: arrhythmia detection (Holter, event recorders), cardiac catheterization and interventions, congenital and acquired heart disease, fetal-perinatal cardiology, non-invasive procedures including echocardiography (transthoracic, transesophageal, fetal), electrocardiography, exercise-stress testing, rhythm disturbances, pacemaker clinic, invasive electrophysiological study and ablation of abnormal electrical pathways.

Non-surgical Treatments
Whenever we can, we treat children without surgery. Thanks to dramatic advances in the treatment of heart disease and conditions, we are able to offer a wide range of non-surgical and/or minimally invasive options to our patients. Pacemaker Clinic
If a child has heart arrhythmia their heart can have a fast, slow, or irregular rhythm and each requires special treatment. At the Pacemaker Clinic, our team evaluates and treats each child's arrhythmia with the most advanced medicine available including electrophysiology.
