Nutrition Support

Patients with gastrointestinal diseases require careful attention to their diet. The nutrition support team at UK HealthCare is directed jointly by surgery and gastroenterology at UK Chandler Hospital and by gastroenterology at the Veteran's Hospital.

The team includes the expertise from Digestive Health physicians and dietitians. Inpatients are treated on an as-needed basis with expanded service in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
