Pediatric Anesthesiology
Kentucky Children's Heart Center offers the only team of specially trained pediatric anesthesiologists in the eastern half of the Commonwealth.
We interact with surgeons and pediatricians from all subspecialties in the management of patients, which is extremely important to the success of a child's surgery.
In addition to surgical cases, the Kentucky Children's Heart Center team is expert in:
- Pain and symptom control
- Management of sedation for children for nonsurgical procedures
